Arestado ang isang Barangay Captain sa isinagawang Buy-Bust Operation ng Nagcarlan Pulis at CIDG Batangas noong Hulyo 15, 2023.
Kinilala ni Police Colonel HAROLD P DEPOSITAR, Officer-in-Charge, Laguna PPO ang suspek na si Alyas Renato residente ng Nagcarlan, Laguna.
Sa ulat ni PMAJ PAUL RAYMUND R AYON, hepe ng Nagcarlan Municipal Police Station nagsagawa ang CIDG Batangas at Nagcarlan MPS ng Buy-bust Operation ganap na 12:45 ng hapon noong Hulyo 15, 2023 sa Brgy. Wakat, Nagcarlan, Laguna na nag resulta sa pagkakaaresto ng suspek matapos magbenta ng baril sa mga awtoridad na nag panggap bilang poseur buyer kapalit ang buy-bust money.
Nakumpiska sa suspek ang isang (1) unit ng Caliber 45 semi-automatic rifle (KG), isang (1) unit ng Caliber 45 pistol (COLT MK IV) model 1911, dalawang (2) piraso magazine ng Caliber 45 (KG) semi- automatic rifle, isang (1) piraso steel magazine ng Caliber 45, dalawampu’t-isa (21) pirasong bala ng caliber 45 isang (1) piraso black holster ng caliber 45, isang (1) piraso Php 500.00 peso bill, siyam na (9) piraso Php 500.00 peso bill boodle money,Pitumpu’t lima (75) piraso na Php 1000.00 peso bill boodle money, isang (1) black sling bag at isang (1) unit HUAWEI Android Cellphone.
Kasalukuyang nasa kostudiya ng CIDG Batangas ang arestadong suspek na nahaharap sa kasong paglabag sa RA 10591 “Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act” samantala ang mga kumpiskadong ebidensiya ay isusumiti sa Crime Laboratory para sa forensic at ballistic examination.
Ayon sa pahayag ni PCOL DEPOSITAR “Dito sa Laguna walang pinipili ang batas kahit sino ka man kung ikaw ay nagkasala kailangan mo ito panagutan. Sa nalalapit na Brgy. Election ay mas paiigtingin pa ng Laguna PNP ang mga operasyon laban sa mga loose firearms upang hindi ito magamit lalong-lalo na sa panahon ng paparating na Brgy. Election. #gtgacana
