Kahapon Hulyo 20, 2023 nagsagawa ng Buy Operation ang Drug Enforcement Unit ng Calamba Pulis kung saan nasabat ang isang High Value Individual
Kinilala ni Police Colonel HAROLD P DEPOSITAR, Officer-in-Charge, Laguna PPO ang suspek na si Alyas Reymond residente ng Calamba City, Laguna.
Ayon sa ulat ni PLTCOL MILANY E MARTIREZ, Hepe ng Calamba City Police Station nagkasa ang kanilang Drug Enforcement Team ng drug buy-bust operation kahapon sa ganap na 8:55 ng gabi Hulyo 20, 2023 sa Cuervo 2, Purok 8, Brgy. Real, Calamba City, Laguna na nag resulta sa pagkaaresto ni Alyas Reymond matapos magbenta ng hinihinalang illegal na droga sa police poseur buyer kapalit ang buy-bust money.
Nakumpiska sa suspek ang 5 plastic sachet ng hinihinalang illegal na droga na may timbang na 60 gramo na may halagang humigit kumulang Php 408,000.00, isang coin purse na naglalaman ng Php 550.00 narekober din sa suspek ang ginamit na buy-bust money.
Kasalukuyang nasa kostudiya ng Calamba CPS ang arestadong suspek na nahaharap sa kasong paglabag sa RA 9165 “Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002” samantala ang mga kumpiskadong ebidensya ay isusumiti sa Crime Laboratory para sa forensic examination.
Ayon sa pahayag ni PCOL DEPOSITAR, “Ang Laguna PNP ay patuloy ang mga operasyon kontra ilegal na droga bilang pagtalima sa direktiba ng mga namumuno Director PRO CALABARZON, PBGEN CARLITO M GACES at Chief PNP, PGEN BENJAMIN C ACORDA JR, na layunin na palakasin at palawakin ang mga operasyon laban sa mga ipinagbabawal na gamot na siyang sumisira sa ating mga mamamayan lalong higit sa ating mga kabataan na pangunahing biktima ng mga ilegal na droga.” #gtgacana
