CALAMBA CITY, July 3, 2024 – Isang matagumpay na pagtatapos ang idinaos na 15th Commencement Exercises ngayong araw ng City College of Calamba (CCC) na ginanap sa Jose Rizal Coliseum. Sa kabuuang 634 na mga mag-aaral ang nagsipagtapos sa harap ng mga magulang, kaibigan, at espesyal na panauhin.
Pinasalamatan ni Mayor Roseller H. Rizal si Senator Imee Marcos sa pagdalo, bilang Guest Speaker at sa mga tulong na hatid ng Senadora sa Calamba.
Sa kanyang mensahe, nagbigay ng mainit na pagbati si Rizal sa mga nagtapos, kinikilala ang kanilang pagsisikap at dedikasyon. Pinasalamatan din niya ang mga magulang na nagsakripisyo upang matulungan ang kanilang mga anak na makamit ang kanilang mga pangarap.
Pinuri naman ni Senator Imee Marcos si Mayor Ross Rizal sa kanyang mahusay na pamamalakad ng lungsod, partikular na sa sektor ng edukasyon. Ayon kay Marcos, hindi naiiwan ang CCC pagdating sa mga achievements, at madalas na nagiging top performer ang kanilang mga estudyante sa mga board exams.
Sa kanyang talumpati, ipinangako ni Senator Marcos na gagawan niya ng paraan upang mailipat ang mga estudyante ng CCC sa mas malaking gusali. “Sa dami ng mga estudyante na umaabot sa 5,000, dapat lamang na mailipat sila sa mas malaking building at kumportable,” wika ni Marcos. Dagdag pa niya, ang kasalukuyang mga pasilidad ay mga converted mula sa lumang munisipyo, at kailangan ng CCC ng isang mas angkop na lugar para sa kanilang lumalaking populasyon ng mag-aaral.
Ang kaganapang ito ay isang patunay ng patuloy na pag-unlad ng edukasyon sa Calamba City at ng dedikasyon ng lokal na pamahalaan na bigyan ng dekalidad na edukasyon ang kanilang mga kabataan.

Bago dumalo si Senator Imee Marcos sa graduation ng Calamba City College ay nakipagpulong muna siya sa mga Kapitan ng Barangay ng Santa Rosa at Calamba kasama ang kanilang mga ABC President at pinagusapang palawigin na ng permanente ang dating tatlong taon ay gawin nang anim na taon ng dalawang termino na labis ikinagalak ng mga Kapitan na kanilang susuportahan ang panukalang ito ng Senadora.
