Tinipon ng Department of Agriculture IV-CALABARZON (DA-4A) ang isang cluster ng mga magmamais sa Laguna, ang Calamba Upland Farmers’ Multi-Purpose Cooperative (CUFAMCO) upang palakasin ang kanilang pagnenegosyo sa tulong ng Agro-Entrepreneurship Clustering Approach (AECA) na isinusulong ng Farm and Fisheries Clustering and Consolidation (F2C2) Program katuwang ang Jollibee Group Foundation.
Ang AECA ay isang proseso ng pagtuturo sa mga magsasaka ng mga estratehiya sa pagnenegosyo upang makapag-suplay sa mas malalaking mamimili gaya ng Jollibee Group Foundation. Mula sa pagiging prodyuser, layon nitong gawing negosyante ang mga magsasaka na nakasentro sa clustering at consolidation.
Kaugnay nito, noong ika-17 ng Hulyo ay kinapanayam ng F2C2 ang CUFAMCO para sa ikalawang hakbang nila sa AECA kung saan sinimulan nang buuin ang kanilang production module at cluster supply plan na naglalaman ng plano ng kanilang produksyon ng ipinagmamalaking dilaw na mais.
Ilan sa mga potensyal na institusyonal na mamimili na iniuugnay sa CUFAMCO ay ang LIMCOMA Multipurpose Cooperative at Luntian Feedmill para sa feeds, at Prifood Corporation kung saan ipoproseso ang kanilang mais para maging tsitsirya.
