Silang, Cavite – Halos apat na libong piso at limang kilong bigasl tinanggap na tulong pinansiya ng mga Barangay Health Workers (BHW) at Barangay Nutrition Scholars (BNS) mula kay Senator Francis Tolentino at ng Provincial Government ng Cavite sa isang seremonya na ginanap sa Cavite State University-Silang Campus ngayong Hulyo 19, 2024.
Ayon kay Senator Francis Tolentino, nararapat lamang na tumanggap ng tulong ang mga BHW at BNS dahil sila ang pangunahing tagapangalaga ng kalusugan sa barangay na tumutulong sa Department of Health (DOH) sa pag-monitor ng kalusugan ng mga residente. “Napakalaking sakripisyo ang ibinabahagi nila upang makuha ang tamang datos dahil danas ko din yan noong ako ay mayor ng Tagaytay. Minsan, gabing-gabi na ay nasa mga sitio pa ang mga yan dahil dapat matapos ang kanilang trabaho,” sabi ni Tolentino.
Pinasalamatan ni Tolentino ang mga dumalo sa okasyon, kabilang sina Governor Jonvic Remulla, Senator Tito Sotto, at Agimat Partylist Representative Bryan Revilla. Pinuri din niya si Bong Revilla, na bagamat hindi nakadalo, ay patuloy na sumusuporta sa mga Caviteño.
Nagbigay din ng pahayag si Governor Jonvic Remulla at nagpasalamat kay Senator Tolentino para sa kanyang patuloy na suporta sa mga taga-Cavite. “Malapit talaga sa puso ni Senator Tolentino ang mga taga-Cavite palibhasa siya ay aming kababayan at alam niya ang kakulangan ng mga BNS at BHW’s bilang dating alkalde ng lungsod ng Tagaytay,” ani Governor Remulla.
Nagbahagi rin ng mensahe ng pasasalamat sina Senator Tito Sotto at Agimat Partylist Representative Bryan Revilla, na kapwa nagpahayag ng kanilang suporta at pasasalamat sa mga frontliners na patuloy na nagsisilbi sa kanilang komunidad.
