The event also served as a dual celebration, recognizing Women’s Month and Fire Prevention Month—two crucial advocacies that highlight empowerment and safety.

Fire Prevention Month: Strengthening Awareness and Readiness

Mayor Rizal emphasized the importance of vigilance and preparedness in preventing fire-related incidents. With the dry season approaching, he called on the public to remain alert and proactive in ensuring safety at home and in the community. “Maging handa, alerto, at laging ligtas,” he reminded everyone, urging residents to participate in fire safety awareness campaigns.

Women’s Month: Honoring the Role of Women in Society

The celebration also paid tribute to the invaluable contributions of women in nation-building. Mayor Rizal reinforced the city’s commitment to gender equality and empowerment, stating, “Babae ka, hindi lang pang bahay, kundi pang-bayan!” His message resonated with the city’s efforts to provide more opportunities and platforms for women in leadership, business, and community service.

Ramdam na Reporma: A Safer, Fairer, and More Progressive Calamba

As part of his governance, Mayor Rizal assured his constituents that “Ramdam na Reporma” continues to push for a city that is safe, fair, and progressive. He encouraged collective action to uphold the welfare of all citizens, ensuring that public services remain efficient and inclusive.

The event set the tone for a meaningful and action-driven March, reinforcing the city’s dedication to service, safety, and inclusivity.
