Lalaking Walang Trabaho, Arestado sa Pag-iingat ng Ilegal na Baril sa Caloocan

Caloocan City – Isang lalaki ang inaresto ng mga tauhan ng Sta. Quiteria Police Substation 6 (SS6) sa bisa ng Search Warrant No. SW-450 (2025) dahil sa pag-iingat ng ilegal na baril sa Barangay 156, Caloocan City nitong Marso 21, 2025 bandang 7:32 AM.

Sa pangunguna ni PMAJ Jeric V. Roxas, Station Commander ng SS6, at ni PLT Wenzie C. Domenden, Deputy Commander ng SS6, isinagawa ang matagumpay na operasyon laban sa suspek na kinilalang si Kervin Adriano y Galvez, 36 taong gulang, walang trabaho, at residente ng No. 2B Sampaguita Street, Barangay 156, Caloocan City.

Batay sa ulat, ang search warrant ay inisyu ni Hon. Glenda K. Cabello-Marin, Presiding Judge ng RTC Branch 124, Caloocan City, para sa paglabag sa Section 28 ng Republic Act 10591 o ang Comprehensive Law on Firearms and Ammunition Act. Sa pagsisimula ng operasyon, inabisuhan ang suspek na ang buong proseso ay nakarekord gamit ang body-worn camera (TD Tech) na may serial number GB3124-2014 at isang alternative camera (Infinix X670), kasabay ng presensya ng isang media representative at opisyal ng barangay.

Narekober sa suspek ang isang (1) unit ng Caliber .38 revolver (ARMSCOR 202 CAL.38 SPL) na walang serial number.

Matapos ang pagkakaaresto, binasahan ang suspek ng kanyang mga karapatan at inihahanda na ang kaukulang kaso laban sa kanya para sa paglabag sa RA 10591. Aminado umano ang suspek na binili lamang niya ang baril mula sa isang kaibigan.

Ayon sa imbestigasyon, si Galvez ay may dating kaso sa ilalim ng RA 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002) at madalas umanong nirereklamo sa barangay dahil sa pagpapaputok ng baril sa kanilang lugar.

Sa ngayon, ang suspek ay nasa kustodiya ng Sta. Quiteria Police Substation 6 (SS6) CCPS para sa karagdagang imbestigasyon at pagsasampa ng kaso.
