PERSONAL na nakiusap ang primyadong actor at direktor ng FPJ’s Batang Quiapo na si Coco Martin sa mga Batagueño na iboto si Senador Lito Lapid(#35) sa nalalapit na 2025 elections sa May 12.

Sa kanyang mensahe sa proclamation rally ng FPJ Panday Bayanihan Partylist sa Malvar, Batangas, hiniling ni Coco na iboto ng mga Batangueño si Lapid, ang Supremo sa Batang Quiapo.

“Gusto ko rin po sanang ihiling sa inyo ang isa sa aking nirerespeto, mahal na kaibigan na itinuturing ko ring ama, hindi ako mapapalapit sa taong ito kung hindi ko nakita sa kanya ang kabutihan, kababaang-loob, pagkilos at pagiging tapat, sana po ay suportahan din natin si Sen. Lito Lapid, number 35 sa balota.”

Sa mensahe naman ni Lapid, inindorso nya ang FPJ Panday Bayanihan partylist na pinangungunahan ni Brian Poe, anak ni Senador Grace Poe.

Sinabi ni Sen. Lapid na hindi nya malilimutan ang malaking naitulong ni
Fernando Poe Jr. sa kanilang pamilya dahil ang kanyang ama na si Jose Lapid ay naging stuntman noon ni da King.

Namatay sa kandungan ni FPJ ang ama ni Lito Lapid habang ito ay dinadala papuntang hospital dahil sa kanyang sakit.

“Walang Lapid sa pelikula kung walang FPJ. Noong ako po’s nagsimula maging bida sa pelikula, sinuportahan po ako ni FPJ. Nagbida po ako noon sa Jess Lapid story. Wala po si Jess Lapid Sr. kung walang FPJ. Kaya po wala rin sa pulitika si Lito Lapid na nasa harap nyo ngayon kung walang FPJ,” ayon kay Lapid

Si Jess Lapid Sr. ay tiyuhin ni Lito Lapid.

Nagka-tambal sina FPJ at Lapid sa pelikulang kalibre .45 noong 1980, kasama ang namayapang si Eddie Gardia.

Bukod kina Lapid at Martin, kasama rin sa nag-endorso sa FPJPB partylist si Lovi Poe, isa sa mga anak ni da King.

Matatandaang si Lapid ang awtor ng Eddie Garcia law na nagbibigay proteksyon, pantay na karapatan at mga benepisyo sa lahat ng mga manggagawa sa showbiz at media industry.
