Sen. Lito Lapid Rises to No. 3 in Latest SWS Survey: A Testament to Public Trust

UMARANGKADA si Senador Lito Lapid sa pinakabagong survey ng Social Weather Stations (SWS) para sa nalalapit na 2025 Senatorial midterm elections, kung saan umabot siya sa Top 3 spot, batay sa 34% ng mga respondent na nagsabing iboboto nila siya.

Nanguna sa survey si Senador Bong Go, habang pumangalawa si Senador Erwin Tulfo.

Sa isang panayam sa Agoo, La Union, labis ang pasasalamat ni Lapid sa resulta ng survey, na ayon sa kanya ay biyaya mula sa Panginoon at sa patuloy na tiwala ng mga mamamayan.

“Natutuwa ako at nagpapasalamat, unang-una sa ating mahal na Panginoon at sa ating mga kababayan sa buong bansa na patuloy ang suporta at pagmamahal nila sa akin. At ‘yan po ay susuklian ko rin ng tapat, malinis na paglilingkod sa kanila, at mamahalin ko lalo sila—lalong-lalo na po ang mga mahihirap nating kababayan,” pahayag ni Lapid.

Mula sa rank 11 noong Disyembre 2024, tumalon si Lapid ng walong puwesto, at nanatili sa Top 5 simula Enero hanggang Marso 2025. Ang pinakahuling survey ay isinagawa noong Abril 11-15, sa pamamagitan ng face-to-face interviews sa 1,800 rehistradong botante na edad 18 pataas.

Iginiit ni Lapid na patuloy niyang isusulong ang mga makabuluhang batas na tutugon sa pangunahing pangangailangan ng mga mamamayan—partikular na ang pagkain, trabaho, turismo, edukasyon, kalusugan, at suporta sa mga senior citizen.

> “Asahan din po nila na gagawa tayo ng mga batas na nakatutok sa pagkakaroon ng pagkain sa mesa, turismo at trabaho, edukasyon, kalusugan, at para sa mga senior citizen,” dagdag ni Lapid.

Patuloy ang pag-ikot ni Senador Lapid sa iba’t ibang lalawigan sa Northern Luzon upang makausap at mapakinggan ang hinaing ng mga Pilipino. Kung muling palarin, ito na ang kanyang ika-apat na termino sa Senado—isang patunay sa matibay na ugnayan niya sa masa.
