CALAMBA CITY, Laguna — A total of 419 residents proudly graduated from various vocational courses during the Commencement Exercise of the Calamba Manpower Development Center, a milestone that symbolizes renewed hope and brighter opportunities for many Calambeño families.


Mayor Roseller “Ross” H. Rizal lauded the graduates for their perseverance and determination in completing their respective training programs, emphasizing the importance of education and skills development in improving lives and strengthening the local workforce.
“Today is a meaningful day for our 419 fellow Calambeños who successfully completed various vocational courses through our program,” Mayor Roseller “Ross” H. Rizal said.


He stressed that providing accessible education and livelihood opportunities allows more individuals to secure stable employment and build a better future.


“This proves that when people are given the opportunity to study and learn, more individuals gain hope, employment, and a brighter future,” the mayor added.


Mayor Roseller “Ross” H. Rizal also reminded the graduates that the certificates they received represent more than academic achievement.
“You carry not only diplomas today, but also new knowledge, skills, and confidence to achieve your dreams for yourselves and your families,” he said.


The local chief executive congratulated all graduates, describing their achievement as a victory not only for themselves but also for the entire City of Calamba.
The Calamba Manpower Development Center continues to provide vocational and technical training programs aimed at equipping residents with practical skills that can help them secure jobs, start businesses, and contribute to the city’s economic growth.
