BATANGAS — Hindi na nagawa pang nakapalag ang isang barangay opisyal matapos itong arestuhin sa isinagawang operasyon ng tauhan ng Lobo Municipal Police Station sa Brgy. Biga,bayan ng Lobo.
Kinilala ang suspek na si alyas Anton, 48 anyos, isang barangay kaawad at residente ng Lobo, Batangas.
Inaresto ang suspek sa bisa ng warrant of arrest na inisyu ng RTC Branch 83, Tanauan City, Batangas na may petsang May 4, 2026.
Nakuha naman mula sa kagawad ang isang kalibre 9mm na baril, 3 piraso ng bala, 3 piraso ng magazine nito at isang black suppressor.
Kasalukuyang nasa kustodiya at nakakulong sa Lobo PNP ang suspek na nahaharap sa kasong paglabag sa RA 10591 o Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act.
