QUEZON — Sa loob lamang ng ilang oras matapos holdapin ang isang grocery- convenience store sa bayan ng Tiaong tatlong hinihinalang sangkot sa krimen ang naaresto sa ikinasang hot pursuit operation ng Quezon Police Provincial Office (QPPO) katuwang ang Lipa City PNP.

Ayon sa Tiaong Municipal Police Station dakong alas-9:30 ng umaga nitong Sabado, Hunyo 20, nang pasukin ng apat na armadong lalaki ang DALI Everyday Grocery sa Barangay Lusacan, kung saan tinutukan ng baril ang mga empleyado at sapilitang pinapasok sa opisina ng store manager bago tinangay ang tinatayang 100,000.00 pesos na cash mula sa koleksyon at operating funds ng establisimyento.

Matapos ang insidente, agad na naglunsad ng masusing imbestigasyon, pagsusuri sa CCTV footage, intelligence monitoring, at koordinasyon sa mga karatig na himpilan ng pulisya ang Tiaong PNP na pinamumunuan ni PLTCOL Rodel Calawit at 1st Quezon Provincial Mobile Force Company sa ilalim ng pamumuno naman ni PLTCOL Reynaldo P. Reyes.

Sa tulong ng backtracking operation at drone-assisted aerial surveillance ng Lipa City Police, natunton ang pinagtataguan ng mga suspek sa Machua Compound sa Barangay Bolbok, Lipa City, Batangas kung saan sila naaresto bandang alas-7:00 ng gabi.

Kinilala ang mga naaresto na sina alyas Art, 25-anyos; alyas James, 22-anyos; at alyas Emer, 35-anyos, habang patuloy pang tinutugis ng mga awtoridad ang isa pa nilang kasamahan na si alyas Alex.

Narekober sa operasyon ang tatlong kalibre .45 baril mga motorsiklong ginamit sa pagtakas, cellular phones, mga damit na umano’y ginamit sa krimen, at 6,800.00 pesos na cash kasalukuyang nakakulong aa Tiaong PNP ang mga suapek at sunampahan na ng kaukulang kaso.

Pinuri naman ni QPPO Provincial Director PCOL Romulo A Albacea ang mabilis na koordinasyon ng mga ng kanyang mga kapulisan na nagresulta sa agarang pagkakaresolba sa insidente ng holdapan.
