Laguna, August 4, 2024 – Carlos Yulo, a 24-year-old gymnast from Manila, clinched the gold medal in the men’s floor exercise finals at the 2024 Paris Olympics. This landmark victory makes Yulo the second Olympic gold medalist in Philippine history, following weightlifter Hidilyn Diaz’s triumph in Tokyo 2020.
