Arestado ang isang 68-anyos na lolo matapos umanong managa ng kaniyang kapitbahay gamit ang itak sa Brgy. Malanday San Mateo, Rizal umaga nitong Lunes ng Agosto 12 taong kasalukuyan.
Kinilala ang suspek na si Alyas Diosing na residente ng lugar na pinangyarihan.
Sa imbestigasyon ng Rizal PNP, nangyari ang insidente bandang alas 10:00 ng umaga kung saan nagkaroon ng pagtatalo ang lasing na suspek at asawa ng biktimang babae na kinilalang si Alyas Crisanta . Dahilan dito, ay nagawa umanong maglabas ng itak ang suspek upang tagain ang asawa ng biktima, ngunit dahil sa pagawat ay si Alyas Crisanta at kasama nitong anak na si Alyas Jennifer ang napagbuntungan ng suspek na makailang beses na tinaga at nagtamo ng mga sugat sa ibat-ibang bahagi ng katawan.
Kaugnay nito, ay tumulong na ang iba pang kapitbahay upang pigilan ang suspek at ireport ang nangyaring insidente.
Inaresto naman ng mga rumespondeng tanod ang nasabing suspek at agad na tinurnover sa himpilan ng San Mateo Municipal Police Station upang sampahan ng kaukulang kaso.
Base pa sa impormasyong nakalap ng pulisya ay nito lamang August 11, 2024 ay nagkaroon na rin ng alitan ang suspek at mga biktima.
Samantala, ang mga biktima ay kasalukuyang nagpapagaling sa mga natamong sugat habang ang suspek naman ay kasalukuyang nakapiit sa San Mateo Custodial Facility na mahaharap sa kasong Frustrated Murder.
Sa mensahe ni PCOL Maraggun ay nagpaabot ito ng pasasalamat sa patuloy na pagtulong ng mamamayan katuwang ang kapulisan upang agad na maaresto ang suspek. Aniya na bunga din ito ng pagtutulungan upang mapanatili ang kaayusan at kapayapaan sa lalawigan ng Rizal.
