Pamahalaang Lungsod ng Calamba Namahagi ng Libreng Gamit, Bag, at Uniporme sa mga Day Care Students

Calamba, Laguna – Sa pangunguna ni Mayor Ross Rizal, matagumpay na naipamahagi ang libreng gamit sa mahigit 6,000 day care students mula sa 81 day care centers sa buong lungsod noong Setyembre 5, 2024.

Ang inisyatibong ito ay bahagi ng programang “Ramdam na Reporma” ng Team Calambago, na layong matulungan ang mga mag-aaral mula Day Care hanggang Senior High School, pati na rin ang Alternative Learning System. Sa kabuuan, ang nasabing programa ay umaabot sa 120,000 estudyante mula sa iba’t ibang antas ng edukasyon.

Ayon kay Mayor Rizal, bukod sa pamamahagi ng mga gamit, patuloy din ang pagpapabuti ng mga pasilidad sa mga day care centers. Ang mga proyektong ito ay bahagi ng hangaring maging child-friendly ang mga silid-aralan upang makapagbigay ng komportableng kapaligiran sa mga kabataang mag-aaral.

Kasama sa mga pagbabago ay ang pagpapalit ng mga lumang kagamitan sa mga silid-aralan. Ito ay ginagawa upang matiyak na ang mga bata ay magiging mas komportable at makakagamit ng mga makabagong kagamitan habang sila ay nasa loob ng mga day care centers.

Sa kanyang talumpati, pinasalamatan ni Mayor Rizal ang mga barangay officials, day care teachers, at mga magulang na dumalo sa programa. Ayon sa kanya, ang suporta at kooperasyon ng mga ito ay mahalaga sa tagumpay ng mga programang pang-edukasyon ng pamahalaang lokal.

Nagpasalamat din si Mayor Rizal kina Vice Mayor Atty. Angelito Lazado Jr. kasama ang buong Sangguniang Panglunsod at Congwoman Cha Hernandez-Alcantara para sa kanilang patuloy na suporta sa mga inisyatibong pang-edukasyon. Ang kanilang mga kontribusyon ay mahalaga sa pagpapatupad ng mga proyektong naglalayong itaas ang kalidad ng edukasyon sa Calamba.

Sa pangalawang araw ng pamamahagi, umabot sa 17 day care centers mula sa Brgy. Lecheria, at iba pang mga barangay tulad ng San Juan, Looc, Uwisan, at Bañadero ang nabigyan ng mga gamit.

Nauna nang namahagi ng mga gamit ang pamahalaang lungsod sa mga estudyante mula Canlubang at Batino noong mga nakaraang araw, na nagpapakita ng patuloy na pagsisikap ng pamahalaan upang matulungan ang mga mag-aaral sa buong Calamba.
