The mayor personally oversees aid distribution to different Barangays and yesterday (November 05, 2024) back to Lingga, Palingon, and Sampiruhan, ensuring assistance reaches those who did not relocate to evacuation centers but still face hardships.

According to Mayor Rizal, his approach of “Gobyerno ang Lalapit sa Tao” (The Government Will Come to the People) is a key aspect of his administration. By prioritizing relief efforts even for those in their homes, he aims to address the needs of every resident impacted by the typhoon, regardless of their location.

This ongoing aid includes essential supplies and resources to help the community regain stability. Mayor Rizal shared his awareness of the struggles that residents have faced while remaining in their homes, vowing that the government’s presence would be felt across affected neighborhoods.
