Calamba City, Laguna – Calamba City’s transformative “CalamBago” initiative continues to uplift and inspire residents with tangible progress and reform, spearheaded by Mayor Roseller “Ross” Rizal and Vice Mayor Totie Lazaro. Their leadership, in collaboration with the Sangguniang Panlungsod, is driving forward the “Ramdam na Reporma,” a movement that resonates throughout Calamba, focused on delivering essential public services and promoting community-driven growth.

In a recent Flag Ceremony, Mayor Rizal proudly announced the signing of Calamba’s budget for 2025—a substantial allocation of over PHP 5 billion dedicated to funding initiatives that directly benefit Calambeños. With Vice Mayor Lazaro, the Sangguniang Panlungsod, and the city’s department heads by his side, Mayor Rizal affirmed the administration’s commitment to transparent governance and quality public service.

The ceremony also recognized the city’s recent accolades, including the Gawad Luntian Award, eBOSS ARTA commendation from BPTFO, CSC Highest Case Resolution, DICT’s Digital City Roadmap Completion, and a Highly Functional LCAT-VAWC award. These honors underscore the administration’s continuous efforts to foster sustainable development, improve digital services, and promote a safe, well-governed city.

“Today, we are building a Calamba that reflects the dedication of every city employee and official who strives for excellence,” Mayor Rizal shared. “Let’s work together for a Calamba that embodies the spirit of change and unity.”

Vice Mayor Lazaro echoed this sentiment, inviting Calambeños to take pride in their city and support these transformative efforts. “Let us all be part of this administration that values the contributions of every Calambeño towards the continued progress of our beloved city,” Lazaro stated in his social media post, calling residents to be “keychangers” in Calamba’s progress.
