Aabot sa Php 399,459,860 ang pondong nakalaan para sa Fertilizer Discount Vouchers (FDV) na ipapamahagi ng Department of Agriculture IV-CALABARZON (DA-4A) sa mga magpapalay sa rehiyon para sa taong 2023.
Ang FDV ay isang programa na sumusuporta sa produksyon ng mga magpapalay sa pamamagitan ng pamamahagi ng vouchers na pwedeng ipambili ng pataba para masiguro ang kanilang masaganang ani.
Nasa 99, 865 ektarya ang kayang sakupin ng naturang programa kung saan ang bawat FDV na tatanggapin ng mga magsasaka ay naglalaman ng Php 4,000.00 na maaaring ipambili ng abono sa mga DA-accredited fertilizer merchants sa kanilang lugar.
Ang mga benepisyaryo nito ay mga magpapalay na rehistrado sa Registry System for Basic Sectors in Agriculture (RSBSA) at National Farmers and Fisherfolk Registry System (NFFRS), at may hindi bababa sa limang ektaryang sakahan para sa mga hindi miyembro ng isang cluster. Maaaring makipag-ugnayan ang mga kwalipikadong magsasaka sa kani-kanilang City/Municipal Agriculturist Office ukol sa pamamahagi o iskedyul ng distribusyon.
Ayon kay DA-4A Rice Program Coordinator Maricris Ite, patuloy ang pakikipag-ugnayan ng DA-4A kasama ang mga lokal na pamahalaan at katuwang na ahensya sa rehiyon upang masigurong maayos na maimplementa ang mga proyekto, particular sa distribusyon ng mga interbensyon gaya ng pataba, tulong-pinansyal, at iba pa. #### (Danica T.
