Ayon sa ulat ni Batangas Police Provincial Office Provincial Director, Police Colonel Samson B Belmonte kay Police Regional Office CALABARZON, Regional Director, Police Brigadier General Carlito M Gaces, tinayang nasa 96 gramo ng shabu na nagkakahalaga ng ₱646,000.00 ang nasabat sa ikinasang paghahain ng Search Warrant ng San Juan Municipal Police Station kasama ang Regional Intelligence Division/Regional Special Operations Unit 4A noong 5:05 ng umaga ng September 21, 2023 sa Barangay Libato, San Juan, Batangas.
Kinilala ang suspek bilang si Alyas Jay, 29 taong gulang, walang trabaho at residente ng San Juan, Batangas. Unang nakuha mula sa bahay ng suspek ang isang Kalibre .45 na baril na may kasamang magazine at mga bala. Kinalaunan nasabat naman ang limang pakete na naglalaman ng pinaghihinalaang shabu, isang timbangan, at isa pang blankong pakete.
Ikinasa ang operasyon sa bisa ng Search Warrant na inilabas ng Regional Trial Court Branch 83, Tanauan City, Batangas na may petsang Setyembre 14, 2023.
Kasalukuyang nasa kustodiya ng San Juan MPS ang suspek para sa kaukulang disposisyon. Nakatakda namang sampahan ng kasong paglabag sa Republic Act 10591 o “Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act” at Republic Act 9165 o “Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002”.
