Kampo Heneral Paciano Rizal – Arestado ang isang lalaki at nakumpiska sa kanya ang hinihinalang dried marijuana leaves na nagkakahalaga ng PhP660,000.00 sa ikinasang joint anti-illegal drugs operation kahapon Oktubre 6, 2023.
Kinilala ni PCOL HAROLD P DEPOSITAR, Officer-in-Charge, Laguna Police Provincial Office, ang suspek na si alias Kim residente ng Muntinlupa City.
Ayon sa ulat ni PLTCOL PABLITO R NAGANAG, hepe ng San Pedro City Police Station nagkasa sila ng police operation kasama ang personnel ng RID4A, PIU Laguna at PDEA Laguna kahapon Oktubre 6, 2023 sa Brgy Langgam, San Pedro City Laguna.
Ikinasa ang joint anti-illegal drugs operation matapos makatanggap ng tawag ang San Pedro CPS mula sa isang concerned citizen tungkol sa kahina-hinalang parcel na ipapadala sa isang delivery courier. Sa ganap na 5:15 ng hapon ng Oktubre 6, 2023, dumating si alias “Kim” sa delivery courier upang magpadala ng parcel. Agad na inispeksyon ng mga operatiba kasama ang mga tauhan ng delivery courier at Brgy. Official ng Brgy. Langgam ang nasabing parcel at nang ito ay buksan tumambad sa kanila ang mga nakabalot na hinihinalang dried marijuana leaves.
Nakumpiska mula sa supek ang 13 plastic sachet ng hinihinalang dried marijuana leaves na may timbang na aabot sa 5.50 kilo na nagkakahalaga ng PhP660,000.00, walong (8) pirasong kahon, anim (6) na pirasong plastic bubble wrap, limang (5) pirasong itim na plastic bag at isang unit ng motorsiklo.
Kasalukuyang nasa kustodiya ng San Pedro CPS ang arestadong suspek na nahaharap sa kasong paglabag sa RA 9165 o “Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002.” Samantala, ang mga kumpiskadong ebidensya ay isusumiti sa Regional Forensic Unit (RFU) para sa forensic examination.
