Dapit-hapon ng October 24, 2023. Matagumpay na nasawata ng 𝗤𝘂𝗲𝘇𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝘂𝗹𝗶𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗵𝗽 𝟵𝟯𝟬,𝟮𝟰𝟬.𝟬𝟬 halaga ng shabu sa magkahiwalay na malawakang buy-bust operations ng mga operatiba ng Lucena at Lopez PNP.
Sa operasyong inilatag, nakumpiska ng mga tauhan ng Lucena PNP-DEU ang humigit kumulang 20.60 gramo ng shabu sa isang lalaking tulak at kinilalang High-Value Individual (HVI) drug suspect sa Lucena City. Samantala, samsam din sa isa pang tulak na Street Level Indiviual (SLI) ang 25 gramo ng droga sa buy-bust operation ng Lopez DET.
Kinilala ni 𝗤𝘂𝗲𝘇𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗲, 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿, 𝗣𝗖𝗢𝗟 𝗟𝗘𝗗𝗢𝗡 𝗗 𝗠𝗢𝗡𝗧𝗘 ang HVI suspek na naaresto ng Lucena DEU na si alyas Owel/Datu, male, 43 taong gulang na nasamsaman ng ilegal na drogang may halaga na Php 420,240.00. Gayundin naman, sa kinilalang nahuli na (SLI) drug suspect ng Lopez DET, alyas Dorot, 61 taong-gulang; siya ‘y nakumpiskahan naman ng halagang Php510,000.00 na ilegal na droga sa isinagawang transaksyon.
Ang mga nasabing suspek ay papatawan ng kasong sa paglabag sa Section 5 and Sec 11, Art ll ng RA 9165 o Dangerous Drug Act of 2002.
