Kampo Heneral Paciano Rizal – Arestado ang isang jeepney driver sa ikinasang buy-bust operation ng Santa Cruz PNP kahapon, Nobyembre 4, 2023.
Kinilala ni Police Colonel HAROLD P DEPOSITAR, Officer-in-Charge, Laguna PPO ang suspek na si alyas Ernesto, 51 taong gulang, jeepney driver at residente ng San Pascual, Batangas.
Sa ulat ni PMAJ LAURENCE C ABOAC, hepe ng Santa Cruz Municipal Police Station, nagkasa ang kanilang Drug Enforcement Unit ng drug buy-bust operation dakong 6:10 ng hapon kahapon Nobyembre 4, taong kasalukuyan sa Brgy. Labuin Santa Cruz, Laguna na nagresulta sa pagkaaresto ni alyas Ernesto matapos magbenta ng hinihinalang iligal na droga (shabu) sa pulis na nagpanggap bilang poseur buyer kapalit ang buy-bust money.
Nakumpiska mula sa suspek ang limang (5) piraso ng small heat sealed transparent plastic sachets na naglalaman ng mga hinihinalang shabu at may tinatayang timbang na aabot sa 6 grams at may standard drug price na aabot sa forty thousand eight hundred pesos (PhP40,800.00), Isang (1) piraso ng five hundred peso bill (Php500.00) na ginamit bilang marked money, isang (1) coin purse, isang (1) unit ng cellular phone at isang (1) motorsiklo.
Samantala, kasalukuyang nasa kustodiya ng Santa Cruz MPS ang arestadong suspek na nahaharap sa kasong paglabag sa RA 9165 o “Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002.” Gayun din, ang mga kumpiskadong ebidensya ay isinumiti sa Provincial Forensic Unit (PFU) para sa forensic examination.
Ayon sa pahayag ni PCOL DEPOSITAR, “Nagpapasalamat ako sa pakikipagtulungan ng mamamayan ng Sta. Cruz sa aming mga kapulisan. Ito’y patunay na kaisa ng PNP ang komunidad sa pagsugpo sa iligal na droga saanmang lugar dito sa Laguna. Asahan ninyo na mas palalakasin ng Laguna PNP ang kampanya laban sa iligal na droga.” #gtgilao
