Intensified Operations Against Carnapping in CALABARZON
Resulted in the Arrest of the Suspects and Recovery of one (1) Motorcycle in the Province of Batangas

Regional Highway Patrol Unit 4A, under the supervision of Regional Chief RHPU4A, PCOL ROMMEL C ESTOLANO, successfully carried out anti-carnapping operations that resulted in the Arrest of Suspect/s: S1- ALEX MARIANO Y ROMERO, and S2- EDISON DALMAN Y MARTINEZ,

Joint Elements of PHPT Batangas and Bauan MPS led by PCPT GERMAN JONES S LITDOG under the Supervision of JASON C STO DOMINGO Provincial Officer PHPT Batangas conducted an entrapment operation which resulted in the arrest of the above-named suspect for violation of RA 10883 New Anti-Carnapping Act of 2016. Recovered evidence from the suspect was one (1) unit of Yamaha Mio I 125 taped and marked RMP-1 11-10-23.

Prior to the arrest, the victim/complainant personally appeared at Bauan MPS and reported that his motorcycle described above was stolen while parked along Brgy. Durungao, Bauan, Batangas by two (2) unidentified male persons who took the stolen motorcycle and fled to Brgy. Inicbulan, Bauan, Batangas.

Verification made through HPG-IMS on the actual plate number, engine, and chassis numbers of the subject MC disclosed that it is included in the list of Alarmed/Stolen Motor Vehicle Status as of this date with Hold-Order No. ALM20231110001.

The arrested suspects were immediately apprised of their constitutional rights (Tagalog) and are now in the custody of Bauan MPS for proper documentation.

The successful arrest of the suspects and recovery of one Motorcycle is a significant accomplishment for RHPU4A, which shows a testament to the unit’s commitment to conducting intensified Anti-Carnapping Operations through the leadership of PBGEN ALAN M NAZARRO, Director of the Highway Patrol Group, in line with the thrust of the CPNP’s strategy of implementing aggressive and honest law enforcement measures to combat carnapping, highway robbery, and other forms of criminality along the highways. /Edjun Mariposque/
