Camp BGen Vicente P Lim- Members of Municipal Drug Enforcement Team of Taytay Municipal Police Station, nabbed a High Value Individual (HVI) and seized ₱448,500.00 worth of illegal drugs during buy-bust operation conducted on November 3, 2023 at Pinesville Subdivision, Brgy. Dolores, Taytay, Rizal.
Based on the report, operatives from the DEU of Taytay MPS conducted a buy-bust operation that led to the arrest of alias “Tisoy”, male, 51 yrs old, resident of 01 Tawi-Tawi St., Brgy. Sta Lucia, Pasig City and listed as HVI in Rizal PPO Drugs Watchlist. Confiscated from his possession were 7 pieces transparent plastic sachet containing suspected shabu weighing 65 grams valued at ₱448,500.00 and monetary bill as boodle money.
Police Brigadier General Paul Kenneth T. Lucas, Regional Director of PRO CALABARZON lauded the operatives of Taytay MPS for the success of the operation and apprehension of the suspect. He also directed the operatives to further their investigation to track down the source of large quantity of illegal drugs in the province.
“I would like to congratulate our operatives from Taytay MPS for this remarkable accomplishment against illegal drugs. Rest assured that we will double our police operations and anti-criminality efforts most likely this coming Yuletide season, which these criminals will take advantage of. Our intensified anti-illegal drug operation will continue until our region comes to the realization of a drug-free community,” RD Lucas said.
The drug suspect will be charged for violations of Section 5 and Section 11 of Republic Act 9165, otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. Pieces of evidence collected in the said occurrence were brought to Rizal Crime Laboratory Office, Taytay, Rizal for laboratory and drug test examination. (RPIO4A) #Edjun Mariposque
