LAGUNA — Siyam na tao ang sugatan matapos na bumaliktad ang isang utility van sa bahagi ng zigzag road sa Majayjay-Lucban Road sakop ng Brgy. Bakia, Majayjay, Laguna nitong Linggo ng hapon.
Ayon sa ulat ng pulisya, nangyari ang insidente dakong alas-5:55 ng hapon.
Galing sa Brgy. Taytay, Majayjay ang mga biktima at patungo sa Nagcarlan, Laguna nang mawalan ng preno ang sasakyan habang binabagtas ang pababa at kurbadang bahagi ng kalsada sa Brgy. Bakia.
Nawalan ng kontrol ang driver hanggang sa tuluyang bumaliktad ang van.
kabilang din sa mga nasugatan ang 46-anyos na driver ng sasakyan residente ng Caloocan City.
Sakay nito ang ilang pasahero na pawang mula sa Caloocan City, Bulacan, at Cavite.
Agad namang rumesponde ang mga tauhan ng Majayjay Municipal Police Station at MDRRMO upang magbigay ng paunang lunas at isugod sa ospital ang mga biktima.
Dalawa sa mga sugatan ang dinala sa Laguna Provincial Hospital dahil sa malubhang pinsala, habang ang iba pa ay ginagamot sa Majayjay District Hospital.
Samantala, siyam pang pasahero ang hindi naman nagtamo ng anumang pinsala,patuloy pa ang imbestigasyon ng mga awtoridad sa insidente.
